The CW’s WCCOs podcast program has been on hiatus since April of 2018, when its host was killed in a car crash in New York City.
The podcast has since gone through numerous relaunches and relaunch attempts, with no clear winner.
On Wednesday, the show’s host, Brian Wansink, will return to the air.
“I’m excited to be back,” Wansinck said in a statement.
“My wife and I were just talking about how the podcast is a little more than a podcast, it’s like a family.
This is where we are at.”
The show has been simulcast on iTunes, but Wansinks’ resume lists no current radio broadcasts.
As the podcast host, Wansinki is the first person to have recorded a podcast.
His show, which features interviews with musicians, writers, and other creatives, has been a mainstay of podcasting on the podcast platform for years.
The show also has a weekly podcast called The WCCCO Podcasts, which airs on the same network.
Wansins show will air on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
ET, and will be simulcast to iTunes, Stitcher, TuneIn, and Google Play.
