The Dodgers are playing a game that has been on the air for months.
And yet it’s not on a radio broadcast.
Instead, it’s on a game show.
And the game show will be aired live on Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s weekday morning network.
The Dodgers, who play in the American League West, are playing the Angels on Sunday night.
The game show is being aired live and in its entirety on the ABC’s weekday afternoon program, Dodger Live, starting at 7:30am AEDT.
The show is a collaboration between ABC Sport’s studio audience and broadcasters and broadcasters including Michael Crescenzo, Mark McGehee, Andrew Healy, and Darren Dreger.
“It’s the same format as the game that’s being broadcast live on the ABC’s weekend morning show, Dodgers Live, and that’s why we decided to put it on this network,” ABC CEO Tony Burke said.
The program will be produced by Aussie talent, including a pair of Dodger superfans, Michael Crelley and Andrew Healey.ABC Radio’s studio audiences will also be able to stream the game live.
The ABC said it was “delighted” with the partnership.
“This partnership with the broadcasters and the network will provide the Dodgers with a unique opportunity to deliver content that has not been done before and that is in its own right very special,” Burke said, adding it was important to have the broadcast on a network with its own audience and audience reach.
